Default difference between "jdm style" and oem(JDM)

well this been bugging me for awhile now. i bought a "jdm style" type r lip, for the 96 front, and i was looking around and seen the oem ctr lip looks way different. so i dont seem crazy can anyone second this for me? mines looks smaller and skinnier like the first pic. and the oem ctr lip looks bigger. Jdm "style" is another word for fake ebay junk.
my friend had a fake ctr and it did also look a little smaller, was tuff to get to fit bumper, and broke the first time he back out drive way.
