Default opinion on engine mods?

im getting a b16a engine soon and was wondering what you guys think are the best mods to do to it while its out of the car. ill have the engine in a month and will be putting it in at the end of next summer. i want to set it up for turbo so keep that in mind. my ideas are bored 40 over with forged pistons, port and polished, new intake mani, new throttle body, new fuel rail and injectors, and cams. all good or no. any opinions welcome. thanks.

If you're going to boost it, why spend so much money on b16? B18 from LS/RS/GS or B20 from CRV will yield more power out-put due to its larger displacement... and, they are a lot cheaper to buy. A local guy had B20 + t3/t4 turbo with ghetto plumbing that put out ~240 at the wheel (@~9psi) with no internal work. Just a thought.

Yep, decide which route your gonna go first(NA or FI) before you sink any money into it. If NA start with the cams and cam gears.

a turbo will definately yeild more power but the NA route is definately more reliable so its up to you.

do not bore it unless it needs it (and def don't go 40 over and stock sleeves if your going to boost it) if your not putting it in till next summer send it to golden eagle for some 84mm sleeves, je/weisco pistons eagle rods, skunk 2 ti retainers and valve springs, i would get some s/s valves just to be safe... p+p polish...leave the stock rail and get a set of rc 440's ..keep in mind you can't use injectors that big w/o a hondata (or any stand alone)...or n/a..you can get away w/ 370's on a stock ecu if you use an apex afc/vafc but it's kinda pushing it..
