Sorry for another Exhaust thread, but I need to know if I can fit a RS-R ExMAG on my 5th Gen SH. I heard that the piping is longer on the base model 5th Gens', so can I cut the pipe to fit the SH? I just love how nice the RS-R sounds. Not too loud, and not ricy at all . Any info is really appreciated.

Yeah I know that is true and all, but has anyone with an SH have the RS-R on their ride?

 

there's no way it will fit without modification. The reason is, the bottom piece of your headers is longer than a base model to clear the ATTS unit. So in order for it to fit, you have to cut approximately 4-7 inches from your RS-R and weld it together

 

I think the difference is about 3.5in.

Not a big deal, just cut and re-weld.

That's one reason why I fell in love with this exhaust. It's a sleeper, just like my ride.

Are you looking for the exhaust for your base or SH? Cuz it turns out they only have it for the base. I gotta cut and weld if I wanna get it.

 

Changed my mind, going with the Greddy Spectrum Elite. Looks and sounds awesome. The titanium tip looks amazing. Expensive though.
