Maybe it's not be best setup, but it's a good one for daily/track use.
koni/ground control coil-over

You heard it already and will most likely heard it more.
Koni yellow with Ground Control.

yeah...reason is-

koni makes, arguably, the best mass market damper available.

combine that with arguably the best springs in the world, Eibach, and put them on a well-engineered sleeve for height adjustability and you have, in total, a wonderful high quality option for street and track abuse.

all of those setups you listed have compromises. it might be the R&D behind them, it might be the spring material...it might be the tuning between the damper and the spring. alot of people use them, and they are popular, but when you break it down you'll find the overall package of the koni setup to be ideal, especially if you are using it for more than a particular look.

my 2 cents...

No need to bump this anymore, your question is answered. Koni/GC is the most reliable, longest lasting, and relatively cheap option available.

Having driven/owned 2 out of the 3 I will tell you that the Flex's will be the best out of this group. The Apexi S1 is fairly newer but knowing how JDM race valving feels like I will tell you that those shocks are most likely not good for anything but track. The Flex's are very streetable but for the price Koni/GC is just as good. If you must have full coilover system check these guys out http://www.amrengineering.com/ around that price (the 3 you have mentioned) quality is right there with Ohlins.
