I know this is a drag racing section but I also know that there’s a great deal of speed and horsepower junkies around here, if needed please remove or delete.


This past Sunday I participated in my second 1 mile event here in Florida, although I will never break any records or be the fastest car I had the best time ever, it’s a hell of a ride;

The fastest times were

> Fastest Time: Ford GT 252.6 mph
> Fastest Mile Porsche: 236.6 mph- Eddie Bello
> Fastest Mile GTR: 199 mph
> Fastest Mile Bike 1650cc: 223mph

man bellos car is the **** iirc it runs 9's it does 240 in the mile and i believe it has ac and some thump in the trunk!!! baller!

 

We're getting ready for the TX Mile next weekend. Bringing the VW out again this year, shooting to better the 208 from last year. Also bringing an 1100whp Supra this year. Might have a GTR to run at the next one too. The mile stuff is fun man, it's just a relaxed weekend with friends and fast cars.

 

Thanks Guys , I have to tell you that is a lot of fun, little bird told Me that Bello will be in Texas, with the power that some of the imports are making we should see a lot of 200mph runs in the near future.

 

Turbo Wax- I was out at the event with the performance power group. I remember seeing your car come by the trailers a few times. I love seeing the older porsches stillnputting it down strong. Iwas really hoping to see eddies car do well sunday, but after johnny made the 252 pass, i figured eddie was done. Seeing his car spin was extremely scary stuff. Hope to see you out in April. There will be some serious stuff going down.

Whats even more amazing is that your doing this AIRCOOLED! (I presume)

 

Both cars are "air cooled" my car is a single turbo 3.3, Bellos car is a TT 3.6,

I don't think many people will touch that 252MPH, but you never know

 

what all is required safety wise for mile runs? this looks fun as hell and at the same time relaxed atmosphere.
