4real, i thought gato n these guys we're boys...w/e who knows......how do u win 11.50 index going faster than that, i did the same thing at nscra tried to let go early, ran 11.0 and got disqualified right away.
yup and thats why i say 11.5 index is bs cause it is going to happen all year you guys wait and see and then people will complain about it and there is no real way to control it period..cause u can have a 9 sec car but u have no cage they going to run 11.5.

He did state in the video that they were the best at what they do, dont try to perpetrate......leave the racing to the racers. Everyone else should find another hobby or go be a Doctor or Accountant...maybe even take up paintballing.
anyways, seriously what is all the bragging in the vid about? i love the **** talking and all, but c'mon, you won the 11.50 index, not an outlaw class.

This video was a response to another shop who he mentions in the video. That is why he was making such comments. There were supposed to be a few racers that were going to come to the event and potentially run him in the index class but they did not show up. Just giving some background info on the video.
I like these guys because there dedication to racing! and to the guy that said they only won an index class,I'm pretty sure they were calling those other shops out for street races/grudge racing, those guys are really in to that. also CLM/chuna/godfather of boost is one of the most slept on racer's/tuners in that area just look at what happend at last years outlaw race. hopefully he can come out strong this year!
Although sandbagging gets frowned upon if done blatantly, any good bracket racer knows how to sandbag and does it well to win races, i've always done it and been very successful, but its not easy. The more you sandbag the harder it gets.
I would never want to run .5 sec faster then the index or not even .2 sec faster as your margin for error greatly increases and you will most likely be beat by someone who can cut a light and run close to the index. There are no electronics allowed so its all on the drivers feel of the car.
Index racing is a great opportunity for guys on a smaller budget to build there cars to run a certain number and learn how to cut a good light off a pro tree. Should have some great side-by-side racing this year as more people learn about it!!
All those runs except for the last run were qualifying passes, so you can run what ever you want. The last run was the first round/finals since there were only two cars in that class. There will always be sandbagging in index racing as there is in bracket racing since index racing is basically heads up bracket racing.

Thought the rules said no sandbagging on the flyer? I guess 11.16 at 103 and 11.11 at 104 isnt that obvious to some people?!?!? All you have to do is look at a time slip. I am sure that car ran about 100mph or more to half track...and then the same mile an hour through the traps? But like XXX said above, a good bracket racer or someone who knew how to play the game a little better would have driven him right under the index and goten the win light themselves.
However I do hope 11.50 index grows and more cars come out next time. I would certainly play if my car was more street able or met the rules.
I will give you props though. It doesnt matter who was in the race. What kind of race it was. Or where it happened. A win is a win and thats what matters.

Import Survival Series on March 28th is also having the 10.0 and 11.50 Index classes... I'll be at that one for the first time out this year. I'm looking forward to the index class turnouts increasing throughout the year and as soon as more people catch on and are able to get their cars to run close to the dial, we'll definitely see some exciting side-by-side racing!!
