X2. Intercoolers were made for forced inducted cars. If you put an intercooler on a non super/turbocharged car where would the pipes connect to???

I think it would be pretty gay to put an intercooler on a car that is not Turbocharged. The intercooler is there on boosted applications because when the Turbos compressor compresses the air the air heats up. The intercooler is there to cool down the intake charge before it reaches the engine.

OP, I assume your kinda meaning to use the intercooler as a "CAI"(Cold Air Intake)? And I would assume clamping a filter on the Driver side end tank of the intercooler and then using the intercooler to try and cool the incoming air? Just buy a CAI if that's what you want. Driving around with an intercooler without a boosted setup is gay and people will make fun of you...I know I would.

Good grief. I saw a Civic a month or so ago that had a huge wing, graphics down the side..two guys in it that were acting like they were "cool" and it had Dual exhaust out the back, one of each side..it was cold out and only one of them had vapor/steam coming out..so I guess the other one wasn't even hooked up...just there for looks..and I thought that was bad..now I see they have intercooler CAI kits. No wonder our sport gets a bad rap from V8 Heads.

Dude, mcvtec already posted the picture of them above so there for sure out there, but I think your missing the point. Driving around with a Intercooler CAI is GAY. I mean really gay. Intercoolers are for "boosted" applications. Why would you want to be a poser and run an intercooler without a Turbo?? That's **** ricers do. If you want a Cold Air Intake, then buy your standard Cold Air Intake that puts the filter in the fender well, just make sure you have your splash guards in place.

Once again, running an intercooler intake system without a Turbo is GAY, Retarded, Stupid, Absurd, Ricer-ish, Gay, Foolish, Gay, and did I mention "GAY"?

Now that's more like it. Fooler is all it would be..I guess he could make BOV sounds with his mouth though..might be good for an extra 100HP..if you make a REALLY super duper uber loud BOV sound like you just released pressure from Massive boost..you might get more HP.

No Turbo noises here..but this guy is good!

In all seriousness. It would seem to do the same thing as your regular Cold Air Intake. Except give the illusion that you have a Turbo setup.
