Harsh downshift during uphill climb
2000 Civic - EXi (D15Z4 Engine) ...... my AT issue is that during a uphill climb SOMETIMES it will down shift harshly... i could actually hear the "thud" during the down shift... changed the ATF from the agent...still no solution .... any ideas guys...????

A lot of automatic Civics that I have driven downshifted harshly. Not all of them but quite a lot did. I have never really cared for Honda's auto trannys. I stick to manuals..more fun to drive anyways.
