Cruise Control Problem
When I first got the car last year the cruise control only worked the day I got it.
The light would turn on when I pressed the switch, but I couldn't set the speed or anything anymore. Then the light stopped working on the switch. So i replaced the switch and the same thing happened. I think I might have a short somewhere. But i don't know what to test first.
So could anyone help?

Honda genuine shop manual has schematics and test procedures. For about the price of three hours labour you can get it (or even less used) and the electrical troubleshooting manual, a worthwhile investment which will always have resale value, compared to getting ripped off by dealership diagnosis charges, and they still will not bother to find the problem. Automatics and manuals have different inputs to the actuator, you did not mention which one you have.
Well? What seems to be keeping you from using it?
DMM or a test bulb will do wonders. If there's a short, you'll find it.
There isn't much anyone can do for you (about this) over the internet.

Oh, see, I didn't read eviee's whole post and thought you were leaving a general reply to the both of us.
You also didn't say what model your car is. (LX, EX, coupe or sedan, etc. etc.)
Regardless. I am sending a PM (shortly) that I'm sure you will find to be quite useful.
