i picked this lil 93 dx hatch up on saturday for 2k. it has a d16z6 which has 97k miles on it. it needs work but thats why its called a project right?

 

Looks like a fun start to a project. Is it an Si? I would get it painted first personally, but what are your plans?

 

first thing to do would be to get the moldings back but thats a nice come up for 2k

 

well it has some body work that needs to be done. i am going to be very picky and tedious with this, i have always wanted this gen hatch. the paint is going to come after the body work. then i plan on hitting the suspension and last will be the motorswap. im still undecided on the setup i want to run, still searching and looking around at prices for each setup. this is going to be my first swap.... so im informing myself ahead of time. any advice and or sugestions?

 

mybad... nah its not a si. its a dx, the original motor was swapped. im not sure why they didnt put something else in(d16) but ah well. the interior was pulled and replaced with gs-r interior. im not exactly sure.... but the seats sure are comfortable.

 

looks good. Get the new paint one and it will look great. ( and shaved mouldings is a personal preference in case you actually like it, leave it on. )

ya the moldings are definately going back on. i searched for a few pics of shaved moldings.... haha i dont think so, not really my style. anyone know of a site or a shop that sells oem moldings?? im located down in texas.

 

Personally I think it would be more work to put the moldings back on.
IMO I'd leave it shaved...less work.
It looks like the previous owner did a decent job anyways... .. .
