I've got a 00' Civic LX that i wanna drop about 1.5" to about 2" not sure yet.
and i was wondering would it be better if i went and bought Koni Shocks or just kept the stock ones. I'm wanting the better handling but i don't want it to have a crappy ride. also I'm wanting to put some 16" rims or maybe even some Si Rims on it.

 

get koni, lifetime warrenty, made for lowerd car stocks arent.

 

Well, you already have stocks, you could always lower it and see how it is before spending the money. I'm lowered on stock shocks and it's ok, I plan on getting Konis very soon though.

Get neuspeed springs. I ride them, the ride is superb! ....IMO

 

I'd go a little closer to 2 inches at least.

 

stock shocks blow out quickly when lowered. i have dropzone gas shocks that have been great for several yrs

 

i think konis have adjustable spring perches, so that could always lower more.

but id personaly go around 2 or 2.5 inches

 

yeah i guess so i want my rims to be tucked a little under the fender that looks good. then with the Mugen Lip it'll look awesome.

 

If you get the Koni Yellows, get ground control coil sleeves too. adjustable height and custom rates ftw.
