Default Stuck rear bearing help

So I have a worn rear hub bearing. My car (1995 civic) the hub and bearing are one unit, and you have to replace the whole hub to replace the bearing.

I removed the hub, but part of the bearing is stuck to the spindle (i think that's the name).

This freaking thing won't budge. I've tried prying it, spraying it with PB Blaster, I don't know what else to do.

I was thinking about removing the spindle, it attaches in the back by a socket that I'd have to find out the size because it's unusually large.

Any ideas?

The remainder of the bearing is that goldish piece thats flush with the dust shield

if you have acces to a cutoff wheel, very carefully cut about 3/4 of the way through it at an angle, then use a chizzle for the rest, should come right off

just splash some lighter fluid or gas on there, and set it on fire. Wait about 30 seconds, then put it out with really cold water. The cold water will make the metal contract, thus freeing the stuck part.

How long did you let PB blaster sit? Also you have to make sure that stuff can find away behind the outside area. If it can not seep into a tiny hole it will not do anything.

For real? Seems kinda dangerous?

For the PB blaster comment i did my best to get it to seep in and I'm not sure it's reallypossible, it let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Alright new question and ya'll can laugh it's fine I already FML.

Anyway, I f*cked up and cut too deep and need to remove the spindle. Can the spindle assembly be removed from the trailing arm removing the big bolt in the back (which we already got off) and the 4 tortex bolts? Or do I need to replace the whole trailing arm?

Lesson learned, shoulda had my neighbor look at this before I went grinding.

Anyway, thanks.

Yes you can replace that portion and not the whole trailing arm. Infact, you can swap from drum to disk brakes that way too.
