Quick question for you guys. I have a 96 accord and swapped in a 98 JDM h22a. The coil is now bad. I want to simply swap in a new coil but the JDM version is internal and the USDM version is external. Which can I buy for a direct swap?

That thread mentioned the 94/95 integra. Is this correct? And will this work for all year h22as since the link doesnt specify what year he has? Thanks.

 

check out the coil from a 98 civic ex. i know that the dist cap works on the h22. so the coil may work too it is also internal.

 

any obd1 or obd2 coil will work

civic, prelude, integra, accord any model obd1 or obd2 do you not know what obd1 or obd2 is

 

haha yes I know what obd1 and 2 are. I was wondering which car is interchangeable. I didnt know any honda would work cause I dont know what all the coils look like. At any rate I used the integra one. It was about 1mm too thick to fit in the slot but I made it work.
