I have a 1995 d16z6 with a p28 ecu in a 91 hatch, every thing is wired. I got the car to start for a second, now im not getting injector pulse. I put a screw driver from the injector to my ear and didnt hear anything. The fuel pump is working and i can hear fuel going through the fuel rail. What should I check?

 

probably a wireing problem

 

do you still have a resister box? hooked to your injectors

 

i have checked the wiring it should be wright and it doesnt have the resister box i took that off and used the injectors from the d16 could it be the injector relay and if so how do i test it and allso the injector ground is hooked to the motor is that ok

 

To make sure it is a fuel issue try starting fluid and see if you can get the car to run that way.

 

the car started for a bit do i need to have my tac wire of the distributor hooked to the ecu

 

i have no pulse going to my injectors all the wires are checked. ideas

 

i have very little pulse going to the injectors what do i check

 

check to see if theyre clogged....the sell fuel injector cleaner at auto parts stores...start wit the cheapest solution

 

Injector pulses? how do you know you even have injector pulses? Did you check using noids lights? Injector pulses are control by the computer. It's power and ground is thru the computer.

 

i tested with a voltmeter i do not have the ground hooked to the ecu its hooked to the main ground for the engine

sorry to tread jack but do have dpfi have injectors ? have it doesn't have a fuel rail ??

 

......yes they have injectors, no there really isn't a fuel rail for DPFI

 

where are they located and which ones do they use ?

 

when you removed the resistor box, did you connect all the wires together that went to it?

wiring i did not have a positive 12 volt hooked to the injectors

 

how do you adjust the tps on this engine or how do you test it it has a bad idle and when you drive it it surges til like 2000 rpm then is ok but has no power
