strange noise when a/c fan is on
I'm about to punch a hole thru my dash trying to find out what this is.
There is a VERY LOUD motor/blowing/rattling noise on my 5th gen base when i have the air blower on. Meaning its independent of whether or not the a/c is actually on. It sounds like when you place a piece of cardboard against a portable room fan.. brrrrrrrrrrrrfffff....
Anyone else experience anything like this?? Air is fine, blows cold and strong. Stock/original a/c system.
TIA.

A leaf or twig is probably stuck in the blower fan. You can take it out and clean it easily. A couple of screws hold it on, just unplug it and clean it out.
x2 The same happened in my girls car, a small piece
of paper had found its way down one of the vents
to the fan and it made a f8&king annoying noise. GL
with it.
