Default Is this at all possible?

Ihave 185/60/14 tires on my car, and want to put 195/60/14 falken azenis on the front, can I do this without having to upgrade the rear tires to 195/60/14?

Why would it not be possible?

Maybe your rear tires will break loose sooner than your fronts but you shouldn't be going fast enough to break loose Azenis on the street anyway so who cares?

so as long as the middle part for example 185/60/14 as long as the 60 part is the same, I can put the tires on? Because the 60 is the width right? or am I wrong?

wrong, the 198/185 is your width of the tires the 60 is the top of the tire to the rim(height).

"-The first number is the width of the tire in millimeters, measured from sidewall to sidewall
-The second number is the aspect ratio. This is a ratio of sidewall height to width
-The last number is the diameter of the wheel in inches." -www.tirerack.com

can you explain how you can put a wider tire on a rim of the same size?

i.e. put a 195/60/14 tire where a 185/60/14 used to be.

Because the Stock Rim width is wide enough to hand anything up to 205, actually I had a 215 on 5.0 inch rim... but it was a tight squeez....

Why only fronts?

Mine worked pretty well for drag radials.

The overall diameter will increase (not desirable). Rim width is supposed to be at least 85 to 90 percent the width of a tire.

only fronts because the back tires are shot, and I want something better for my front wheels since its front wheel drive.

To get the full desired effect from the Azenis you'll need to get 4 of them, right?

They're designed with cornering in mind. They are THE most popular street tires at SCCA SoloII events.
