Icon2 Question on full coil-over systems

Looking at the Blox and Omni-power systems for a 95 Del sol. With price and ride quality, which would be the better way to go? Not looking to go slammed but at least a 2 finger gap at all corners. Daily driven with more toward ride quality and comfort than racing. I'm looking to stay around 675-700 price range.

Blox is a little stiff for daily, however I have never ridden in a car with them. I would suggest k-sport if that is all you want to spend.

Just now saw that I can no longer get the omni powers anymore. And looking at the spring rates for the blox does suggest a firmer ride than I was hoping for. I'll look into ksport and progress and see what they have to offer.

Any feedback on the Ksports as far as comfort? Again not looking to be slammed, just a nice tuck and a comfortable ride. I have skunk2 lowering springs and from what I can feel and have been told they are one of the harshest riding springs out there, I know they have to be stiff to prevent bottoming out, and they do that job well.

blox and omni both have the same spring rates. i suggest you go with k-sports, megan racing or d2's........

Ksport should be a bit firmer than progress. I forgot all about progress. You can pick them up for 570 or 600 and they are very good quality. The only downside is that they are not a full coilover, lowering the progress results in less travel for the strut. If you dont want to ride slammed and a 2in. drop is fine the progress is the best choice.

If you do want something a bit more firm than k-sport is your best choice. They are also a full coilover where you can lower it without sacraficing ride quality and bottoming out. I have heard that they are softer than what most people think but with adjustable dampening you could make it a harder or softer ride.

What I have now is Skunk2 springs on Koni STR.T's with extended top hats all around. It's not a horrible ride but I would like to get it level and a bit less harsh if possible. The adjustable dampening would help I'm sure. Considering a set of GC's on the STR.T's...but I think the rebound on these are too hard to make it a decent ride.

When you lower a car its going to get more rough, thats just the way of the game. I have not seen anyone use GC/Str.t but it should ride nice as long as you dont lower it over 2.5in.

Right, I understand that. However, I know I won't get stock ride quality but that doesn't mean I can't come close with making a wise choice. Interested in the Ksport's, anyone have feedback on these?

OP, i'd rather go with a set of used skunk2 slip over coilovers (integra or civic rates, your choice) with tokico illumina shocks.

Since you're more concerned about ride quality, why not go with springs and shocks. It'll be cheaper and ride great. I had Tein springs with tokico shocks and the ride was great. I had about a 1 finger gap.

I would if I could find a spring that would sit low enough, I'd also like it to sit even instead of the 'hotrod' look. I like the height of my front end but not the rear not to mention the ride quality.
