Default Window Regulator

It was a nice day outside yesterday so I put the passenger front window down the first time in quite a few months. Then it wouldn't go back up. I've been having wiring issues b/c of the plug in the drivers door. But, when I tried the switch on the passenger side it either wouldn't work or would continue to go down but not up.

Since I don't have a garage and it was supposed to rain I bought a new motor/regulator for $95 from advance auto. As I was getting ready to replace it the window suddenly went up.

So, since I have 120k miles on the car, should I return that motor and get TWO window motors, one for each front door or stick with the one I have? My drivers side window goes up somewhat slow but I figure if I can replace both window motors for the price of one why not.

Any had experience w/ the motors on ebay? I don't wanna waste $40, then have to buy another one right away if it breaks. But, I figure they all come from China and are probably the same as the auto parts store.

***Cliff Notes:
Bought window motor/regulator for $95. Return and get one off eBay for $36? Quality the same?

You should test the window circuit to see what the problem really is.

Test at the switch if there's power & ground to the switch by using the test light.

How would I go about doing that?

I know the switch is fine. I swapped it with one from the rear and it did the same thing. The other 3 windows will work when the passenger side does not.

Going to return the $95 window regulator today and get a $40 one off eBay.
Anyone bought/used one from eBay?
