3 grand is a STEAL for a 2000 Si in good condition. but as the guy above me said (Intake/Headers/Exhaust) and Cams later.

 

if it has no probs, i'd say grab it before someone else gets it.

Not sure why everyone is so hot on headers, they make a whole 2hp, lol

I'd say get a cam upgrade, makes a lot more hp than headers

 

Yeah man she told me she would take 2700 cash for it. It had ebay intake,headers and exhaust. Stock si rim, Cd player. The front bumper needs painted and the rear wing need put back on. Took it for a test drive, it burned little oil when i tapped vtec out, but other than that she runs like a champ. Got 97k on the car itself mostly highway miles. I was thinking taking ebay parts off going with skunk2 headers n exhaust,aem intake,blox mani,fuel rails n bigger injectors for now. tryin to get around 200hp with bolt on stuff

Getting 200hp on a B16A with bolt on's is very hard to do!!!

 

Well condising that Im getting a car thats worth about 5 to 6 k in perfect condintion for half that price im satified.

 

^^it is very hard. depends if you are talking about WHEEL horsepower or CRANK horsepower though. either one takes money and time lol.

Don't waste money on a swap. Stock boosted b16 handle 280-300whp. A Greddy kit is good and is bolt on except for the oil return line which requires the oil pan to be tapped into. That kit is also a decent price and comes with a GReddy emanage ecu that is pre-tuned for your car. And that means it doesn't need to be tuned to run good. The emanage is not a basemap either so you shouldn't have any problems as long as the car is in good working order.

 

pointless to fully build go with the turbo?

 

well if u got the money to turbo it, do it lol. V8 eater/EVO eater/ Subaru eater potential.

 

ya through the top half of the power band and if u do i/h/e and then add cams it will be way more noticable. . . every little thing helps but i/h/e is the best and cheapest way for hp gains
