Default Pacesetter Catback Exhaust Any Good?

just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with them. I have an all stock EF hatch and I get get a brand new one for $200.00 shipped sale ends on the 14th. I was debating whether to go for it or do a custom 2.25 with magnaflow HFC, resonator, and Muffler. I just want a little bit of a deep sound. My buddy had an si crx with a pacesetter and it sounded fair, but muffler eventually rotted. Any feedback would be great

rough construction, pretty raw materials...it won't last, really.

it's an entry level noise maker.

i definitely think you should consider getting a pre-fabricated or build-a-kit exhaust that is made out of 309 stainless steel.

you can use those items you suggested but make sure you use nicely bent stainless pipes and quality welds to join it all.

I agree. a little bit more $ but worth it. Welds tend to crack cause they cheap!! Cant really put a price on good quality.

I bought a header and exhaust off of ebay for 270 and I ended up paying 200 bucks more just to get it fixed at an exhaust shop.

My advice: Don't go cheap.

If I would have thrown down 470 in the beginning I am sure I would have gotten something real nice.
