Leaking fluid??

Default Leaking fluid??

I started my car today and its been in my garage over the winter but its been nice last couple days, so after its all warm i look under car and theres a drip every 6-8 seconds coming from front left part of car by tire, i smelt it & it smells like gas i put a bucket underneath and collected some and it was clear.. plz help

the only things that are up front and to the left is your power steering reservoir and water sprayer reservoir, one gas line runs on the left side to the rail where the fpr is but it isnt up front near the tire

well i had my intake pipe off i had to screw in my fitv, could it have came loose when i was back there by intake mani

by clear do you mean light yellowish tainted ? Does it smell like gasoline?

Check your Fuel feed & Return line connection. Also, shine a light down at the fuel filter to see if there's any wetness around the filter or fitting lines.

hey could u decrive to me where to look as to where the leaking is comming from, i was fiddling around behind intake mani because i had to re tighten my fitv so could i possibly have knocked 1 of the lines loose??

yeah its very possible you loosened something, check all fuel lines and make sure they are tight and the lines are in good shape

i found the leak close to brake resevoir down abit theres a 17mm bolt and i felt underneath it and its definetly where its coming from, so sould i try tightening the bolt

Yeah, tighten it a little more, but don't go tooo tight.

they used teflon tape to seal around that 17mm, the bolts not loose so im assuming its comming from the tape, can gas be able to corrode the tape??

Gas has the ability to eat glue or similar substances so the answer would be yes.

coming from the fuel filter, that hose and the fitting as you can see are pretty worn out and i believe its sweating a tiny bit of gasoline, before my leak was at the bolt on top of fuel filter, but now is hose where the metal meet the hose, where the fitting ends,

its a fuel line...get that replaced and make sure u get the same type of washer otherwise its going to leak again. or use the washers u have on it now...i was having that problem when i replaced my fuel filter.
