What is the biggest cam I can run b16
Stage III cams on a stock engine = waste, you don't have the compression for them. Same goes for stage II cams like Toda or Skunk2, they are designed to operate well with compression 0f 11.5:1 and higher
Stage I cams are made for stock or mild engines

ITR is the biggest cam you should use. Running some ungodly lumpy, aggressive cam would be a total waste of time and money. You can't just slap in a set of big cams and expect miracles. The rest of the setup must compliment your choice
yeah i wouldnt put anything bigger than ITR/CTR cams on stock valvetrain. anything bigger is just asking for something to go wrong. also a waste of money if you can't REV them high enough to make the POWER out of them.

Anything stage 2 or higher will mushroom your valves if you don't have an upgraded valve train. Trust me, I know from first hand experience...the person that had the motor swap I have now had been running stage 2 cams w/o an upgraded valve train. When I went to put in the motor, I checked the head over and this mistake ended up costing me some $$ for a whole new valve train. :/
