Have a 4dr 4cy Honda Accord LX 07.

Anyway, curious which tire to get to replace. Both are Yokohama. One is a T rating and one is an H rating. What the heck is that about? I've found nothing too helpful online.

Tire1: Avid TRZ Yokohama T 80,000 $94.00

Tire2: Avid H4S Yokohama H 60,000 $106.00


Thoughts? I'm not a racer, max speed of 90MPH on long interstate drives...

I go to www.tirerack.com search the tires that fit your car and then pick the #2 or #3 tire based on user reviews. I always do that and get great results.

 

What tires are on your car now? Michelins or bridgestone? The OE Bridgestone is only 112, while the michelin is 155. At tirerack that is. In many ways Michelin OE tires are some of the best all around great tires. I recently replaced a set on an 06 4dr with 94 thousand good miles. Whats just as amazing is the original F pads still have 25-30% left in them. Anyway, a tire that I love for a daily driver is the Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring for around 80 bucks they are great. Uniroyal is a subsidiary of Michelin and you can see the influence in this tire. A great all around tire. I have watched these tires through their service life and have never seen issues with them. Michelin are good tires, but the front wear out within 1 1/2-2 years of driving.

You should try the Bridgestone or BF Goodrich.
