I got the complete front knuckles, 10.2" rotors, calipers from an 92 JDM EG2 CRX/Del Sol with B16A. My 92 EG6 Si has the 9.5" rotors and I would like to install the larger brakes on my Si. My questions is, Can I just swap the rotors and calipers onto my Si knuckles? Or do I need to swap the Del Sol knuckles onto my Si?

the knuckles are the same, you the only difference between the 92-95 knuckles is the hub on them for the rotor to clear when going on. You will be fine putting the calipers and everything on yours.

 

Ok, so I will be fine swapping out my 9.5" rotors, dust shields and calipers for the 10.2" rotors, dust shields and rotors onto my existing knuckle and hub? Just want to make sure, since I am getting ready to start the engine swap and I will have the front apart anyways, just trying to elminate as many extra steps as I can. Thanks for the help.

 

Thats just not true. The knuckles are different. EX/Integra caliper bracket wont bolt up to CX/DX/EX/'92 - '93 Si knuckles.

 

yeah the calipers and all will be fine as long as everything is getting replaced.

 

really?? when I checked part numbers they showed the same on knuckles.

so what you mean is that you can't bolt Ex calipers up to CX knuckles and such?? I did on my 93 Cx hatch I had? Not saying anything bad, just really confused?

 

I think I will just swap out the knuckles too then. Just in case, it's only a couple additional minutes per side. Thanks for input guys.

 

that's true, i'm confused now though lol.. I was going to swap bigger calipers on mine too, but I just looked at a bad knuckle out here and it looks slightly different. So i'm just going to swap the knuckles out too.
