Default EF Full coilovers Ksport vs. FF type 2

Im trying to decide which ones to go with, they seem to be around the same price, may be FF a bit cheaper.

My question is, i know that ksport will go very low on EF.

How low will the FF go? About the same or a bit higher.

If you feel that there is some other brands of coilovers that i overlooked, that would be better ride quality(to an extend of course), but still go pretty low feel free to let me know!

thanks

Maybe the new Ksports are better than they used to be, I have no way of telling this but supposedly the new warranty is now 3 years. I would radther go with those over FF. As for the other brands Koni/GC.

i considered koni/gc combo, and i know its the ultimate slamm set up, but for some odd reason it seems to me that full body coil over would a better way to go. More solid i guess. I might be wrong so if anyone has ideas on that

aren't FF, K sport, D2 ect all built in the same factory in taiwan?

why go away from a proven slammable setup like koni yellow / GC if thats what you are after?

Just get the top hats and call it a day.

never been in a car with ksports or koni/gc sleeves so i cant say wats better but i enjoy my ff typeII.my buddy has the typeII's on his ef hatch also.we both play around the mountains and we got no problems.its a stiff ride but nice.i would tell someone to buy them but its all on the person on wat they want.as far as slammin it ya its possible.my boy is tucking tire a lil and iam just on the fenders and we both got tons of room to go lower.

Koni have been tried and proven. Quality control on them is very high. You cant go wrong with them as long as you use them properly. Your top hats should help the piston gain enough clearance from bottoming out and your LCA will help act as a bumpstop if your oil pan doesnt first.

Full body coilovers vs shocks shouldnt be compared like that. Both are a form of dampeners, one is just built with a spring to compliment it. You should compare quality and dampening range instead of dampener type.

As for Ksport and FF, they are fairly new companies. Lots of people claim Ksports to leak prematurely. Lots of good reports for FF so far. But keep in mind WHO are giving these reviews. Seems like a lot of fan boys, slammed ride *****, inexperienced type of users are giving praise to these cheaper type coilovers. And a lot of Koni users are typically seasoned racers, older and more mature, have a better understanding on the mechanics of suspenion, and can give a break down on suspension theory that will blow your mind. Just my $0.02.
