I know that it is probably past time to replace my whole suspension but I dont have the money to do it all at one time. So I have slowly been replacing stuff one by one... But my main question is how bad will your car ride if the ball joints are bad if anyone has been through this....

 

I won't really ride bad but you will hear some "clunking" over bumps.

Yep, i'll take a car with no brakes any day over one with worn out ball joints or tie rod ends.

 

Won't ride bad but if it pops out then you are going to be in a world of hurt,don't mess about and fix it asap.

 

replace them if you think they are bad,

my dads lower ball joint poped on a speed bump, and it tore the whole front end up.

 

yes sir all to common in mn with all the pot holes and such. i always see cars like that on the side of the road during spring, and we also get a few towed in every year at the shop i work at. better to fix it now than to leave it and fix everything when it does decide to break.
