i remember seeing a thread a while back on how to replace an antenna. if anyone has the link that would be greatly appreciated

 

undo the screws on it at the top. unplug it and pull it out. slip in the new one. do up the screws and under the dash plug it in. (that is if its under the dash), mine was. then it goes to the back of the radio. some go directly to the radio.

 

i had to use a hanger and some electrical tape to feel the antenna wire down through the pillar.

 

There is a junction in the antenna wire above where the hood release is. You wont have to pull it all out from the back of the radio.

 

Unplug the antenna, then unscrew it at the top. Pull the antenna out a little bit and cut it. Electrical tape your new antenna to the old one and pull the old one inside the car and it will feed your new one right thru.
