What do you guys know about this muffler? Is it loud? How would you describe its sound? I need a fairly quiet muffler because I live in a very conservative town and there are lots of cops around.

I am interested specifically about this one because I got a ticket and a court order to replace my muffler with a quieter one. My muffler had rusted out and replaced it with some cheap aftermarket. I don't think what I have now is "loud" but a court order is a court order; I was just in the wrong neighborhood with a wrong car at the wrong time with the wrong skin color. I don't want to install this one and have the court tell me it's still "loud."

I want to fight the court but I don't know what to do and how to do it. Any one else had an experience like this?

No, I am Asian.

I live in a predominantly old rich white conservative community. Where I work, I work with one black guy, I am the only Asian, and everyone else is white. I used to live in California for 15 years and I never got pulled over. I have lived here a little over two years and I've been pulled over five times.

And the town is crawling with cops at night. On my way home last night, I was followed by two cops at two different times. I've gotten so good at identifying their headlights it's ridiculous.

So if you guys have any more information about this muffler, I'd like to know.

 

I had an Ansa exhaust on my first CRX back in 1999. And it was nice and quiet not loud at all. Perfect if you want a nice and quiet exhaust. Here is a picture of it on my car. Not the best picture but this is the only rear photo I have of the exhaust on my car. And I also put a picture of the exhaust below.
