Unless its top brand(skunk2,B&M,etc.) id just keep the stock one, trust me, u dont want to be like me, at the track, made 4 runs and on the 5th wacked 2nd and completly broke off from the ball, luckly i still had my stock shifter, hasnt givn me trouble after all races i raced..

Adding another bend in no way shortens the throw. The difference is personal preference. Some like the shifter further back (dual bend), and others further away (single bend). It depends on how long your arms are as well, i guess.
as he said do not buy ebay APC shifters they are junk and break. i broke mine twice slaming second and it was a super short shifter. now i have a skunk2 single bend and luv it. the stock one gets in the way of my cup holder too much...
I've actually broken a blox one. It snapped when I slammed it to third and I installed a Fidanza one I found in an integra at a junkyard. It however, hits my exhaust and rattles and its driving me nuts. I'm planning on getting the b&m Pro Edge shifter. Anyone got experience with it?
