its all personal preference. do you like your stock civic shifter, or go drive a gsr. They come stock with dual bend shifters. See which one you like better.

I believe the dual bend has a shorter throw compared to the single bend.

Adding another bend in no way shortens the throw. The difference is personal preference. Some like the shifter further back (dual bend), and others further away (single bend). It depends on how long your arms are as well, i guess.

as he said do not buy ebay APC shifters they are junk and break. i broke mine twice slaming second and it was a super short shifter. now i have a skunk2 single bend and luv it. the stock one gets in the way of my cup holder too much...

I've actually broken a blox one. It snapped when I slammed it to third and I installed a Fidanza one I found in an integra at a junkyard. It however, hits my exhaust and rattles and its driving me nuts. I'm planning on getting the b&m Pro Edge shifter. Anyone got experience with it?

Ya the Blox and fidanza Short shifters are garbage. If you want TOP quality, you should check out the TWM Performance Dual Bend. I've had it in my car for about 5 years with 360whp and it's never let me down. I used to have a Skunk2 but switched it out for the TWM unit because the bearings on the Skunk2 shifter were not good at all...felt very rough and notchy. The TWM shifter was a huge improvement and it's impossible to break.
