WeaponR throttle rotor

These things are all over the internet. What's the deal with them? Pros and cons? Do they work at all? What are the effects?

I tried a search but didn't yield anything substantial...

It's not going to make your car faster in any way. It will not "reduce the time it takes your car to get to FULL THROTTLE by 50%", that's just stupid to even say that. It may not even make your throttle response any 'better' depending on the characteristics of your engine.

It will raise the impression ratio though.
