Default Seatbelt warning

Is there a way to disable the driver and passenger seatbelt warning alarm chime?

I always have my seatbelt on...and so does my passenger...but there are also times where it's annoying if it's just for a VERY quick go-stop...ex. parking lots

just wondering if i can bypass the sensor that's all...

The airbags deploy differently depending on whether the seatbelts are being used or not. I wouldn't mess with it. I've seen a thread on 8th civic showing how to make the beeping a lot quieter, look it up.

^^Thanks...never knew that the sensor affects the airbags...I won't be touching it until I'm sure of it...

some people do this because they no longer utilize the stock seatbelts when going with racing harnesses.

Seriously. You brought up a 5-month old thread to say that??

If you don't like what other people are saying in a thread....then maybe YOU should worry about yourself and not other people.

I'm not sure why it came up. I didn't go searching for it. I clicked on it and found the comment so I had to reply. I would never comment to someones face about wearing a seatbelt.

I always wear my seat belt, but I never tell anyone to wear a seatbelt. If someone told me I should be wearing one I'd tell them to shut the eff up and mind their own buisiness and I would call them a H-O-M-O.

I will agree that the seatbelt chime is annoying when pulling into a parking spot. If you've not come to a complete stop and your passenger is shedding the belt, it still beeps and complains.
