Default Battery Light On New Swap.

ok so me and my buddy ordered a b20 from hmo we put it in a eg and it start up with no check engine light. the battery light is the only light on. after running the car for a while the lights start to turn off. i put the hazards on and they blink really fast (like if a bulb was out but they are not) eventually the car dies and wont start back up. i was thinking the alternator? but its a fresh swap from hmo.

the car runs a little rough but we were gonna change the spark plugs and wires to see if it made a difference.

any help is appreciated TIA

Do your lights seem brighter than normal? Your alternator might be over charging your battery. The alternator will not test bad if you try the easy test by removing the positive connection to the battery. Had this happen to me, so i test it out at Schucks and the alternator failed everything. Alternator is your best luck or try a new battery.

yes the battery is dead. but he didnt have any problems with the battery before the swap. i was thinking it might be a bad ground. there was a grounding kit on the single cam that was on there.
