Default need help asap.. clutch engaging problem

i was driving my car today and it decided it didnt want to go in gear anymore. i had to pull off the road, turn the car off and had to start it in 1st gear. that was the only way i could get it home. when i came to a light, i would press the clutch in and it was like i didnt even press it. the car was still in gear with my foot on the clutch and my car stalled out. if i put it in neutral while the car is on, i cant get it back into gear, its like im locked out. i have a built b20 block with a built b16 head. and its a built b16 tranny. im not to sure what it is. any info can help. im trying to get my car back on the road asap. thanks

If they go bad they will leak. Any fluid in the resevoir? Get a buddy to push on the clutch pedal while you look to see if the slave moves at all. If it moves full travel then look for answers in the bell housing (broken fork, pressure plate diaphram etc.). If it doesn't move then look again for leaks. Did you check inside the car at the clutch pedal? Thats where the master will leak.

that clutch master cylinder is still full of fluid and there is no leaking under the dash by the clutch pedal.. i had one of my friends push in the clutch and the slave cylinder moved when he pressed the clutch.. does that mean its good still?

Yep that means that everything from your foot to the bellhousing is working fine. Time to pull the trans out.
