What more do you want out of the car? What are you unsatisfied with?

Maybe you should do a trackday and explore the car's limits in a safe controlled setting. Then you can better assess its strengths and weaknesses.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Sometimes I think about upgrading the suspension, other times about some lighter wheels/tires. Then I think about an intake + flashpro to make it rev harder. But then the sensible side of me says "better brake pads."

thats a hard decision to be honest. my first mod was a dcrh with only 100 miles on my car lol i wasted no time in making my car a sleeper. but now i have i/h/e/rrc/fp and tein coilovers and i feel the car is fine where its at. seems how i just cruise to work and back and i dont really do much other, i feel the car is perfect for my situation because it looks good lowered, and has that extra little power i need to get on the freeway, maneuver through traffic etc. im gonna get some new wheels i think or i might just go s/c and get it over with already lol.

I think that intake + flashpro + HFP suspension + lightweight wheels + better brakes is as far as I can see myself going at this point.

This is exactly what I ask and suggest to people when they ask where to start with mods.

Tein has four models out for 8th gens: basic, super street, flex, and mono flex. So depending on your budget, you can find the kit that suits your needs. As for Hondata's K Pro and Flash Pro, the former is for K motors whose throttle is modulated by a cable, versus the latter is for the throttle by wire, which we have. The two are not interchangeable.

Being a newbie myself, I found it easier to decide on a "modification path" for myself. Being a full-time student, full-time worker, I have a little more money than the average 19 year old. I bought the car with an AEM intake, but I already decided to switch that out. Im going with the AEM for weekday use, and for track use a custom intake derived from the Injen. After that, I decided to do Type-R shocks and Tein springs. Then some Rota's or OEM wheels different from the Si's. After the suspension, I am getting the APEX-i NOIR exhaust, fairly cheap, and stock looking. Then a Strup header. Then tune (flashpro). The car will be a weekend warrior NASA HPDE car, with intentions of turning it into a full blown race car after I pay it off. Just a little insight into another newb idea.
