ok so i have a 1991 acura integra swaped with a b16a. the car is having issues at certain rpms it gets jerky even shakey. and strugles to get past that rpm but when u get on the car it has no problems. the plugs and wires have been changed so has the dizzy cap and rotor. then i was told it was the ecu so i got another one and the problem is still there. Today i went out and unpluged the iac valve and started it up and it ran the same so does that mean my iac is bad or any ideas on what could be wrong i need help please

 

My guess would be to check the timing belt and make sure its not loose.

 

the same thing happened to me with my LS swap it ended up being the TPS

 

i checked the timing belt and thats good. how would i check the tps

 

so lastnight i disconected mt tps and it did nothing so i pluged it back in and then went for a drive a lil bit later and my car wouldnt get past 2500 rpms so i unhooked the battery and it then had no problem getting past 2500 rpms but my problem was still there does this mean my tps is good or bad
