Default My 2010 67mm/True Street build

(EDIT/UPDATE 12/29/2010:So my 2010 project kinda turned into a 2011 project. Ditched this setup in favor of a new one. Updates and pics of new build begin on page 3)

With all these nice builds popping up for this 67mm class, I figured I would post a bit about mine... It's not as nice as some of the others on here, but should be a simple, effective setup...

(UPDATE: Added more pics and video clip page 2)

To start off, the chassis is a 1995 Civic DX... The car has had some weight reduction, but not too much... I am in the process now of fitting the full interior (minus rear seats) back into the car around the 8pt cage... Cage will eventually be converted to full ten point. The car currently has Skunk2 drag coilovers, skunk 2 pro series front camber kit, Blox rear camber kit, Avid pro series traction bar, etc. etc.

The engine setup I went with is a Darton MID sleeved 84mm B16 block, coated Wiseco pistons with upgraded wristpins, Eagle ESP HBeam rods, Calico coated ACL bearings, OEM crank, OEM ITR water and oil pumps, ARP main studs and head studs, ITR head with full Ferrea valvetrain, ITR cams, Victor X intake, OmniPower 70mm throttle body, etc..

Drivetrain consists of a hydraulic trans with GSR gearset, LS final, Wavetrac LSD, IPG scatter shield, Competition Clutch twin disc, and DSS 5.9 axles. I am running 235-60-15 MT ET street radials on the car currently as it is regularly street driven, and also have Lenso's with M&H 25x8.7's (I will be switching to M/T 24.5x9's)...

Turbo set up is pretty basic too... Custom ramhorn manifold, Precision ball bearing PT67 with "H" compressor cover, PTE 46mm wastegate, PTE intercooler core (24"x12"x3.5"), 3" aluminum IC piping, custom 3"->4" downpipe, 4" aluminum exhaust w/ Burns stainless race muffler....

As far as fueling/engine management I decided just to go with the FullBlown dual Walbro setup (which may be ditched in favor of dual Bosch pumps), -10 feed and -8 return, PTE 1600cc injectors, AEM injector driver, MSD ignition, Omnipower 4bar map sensor, omni TPS, and boost control via MAC valve, all controlled by a Neptune RTP/Demon tuned by Alpha at InductionPerformance.com...

I know there is a lot that I missed, so if you have any questions feel free to ask... Here are a few pics of how the car sits now... I will post more pics of the progress over the next couple weeks, and hopefully some numbers!!!

I would like to thank a few people for their hard work and help with this project...
Collin @ RacingIntegration.com for engine assembly and for his knowledge and guidance
Neal @ NS Racing for fixing the wiring/electrical nightmares in this car
James Innes @ IPGParts.com for the killer deals on parts, and awesome customer service
Alpha @ InductionPerformance.com for the time hes putting into tuning this car
The whole crew @ ProvenPowerTampa.com for great fabrication, and the use of their dyno
And all of my friends who have helped out wether it be moral support or turning wrenches!

How do you like the 235/60-15s? What power are you running with them?

Not sure of numbers yet as the car is just on a pump gas base tune and hasnt been back to the dyno.... I can say that around 17psi wastegate pressure on pump, they spin in first, but hook pretty decent in second... The one time they saw 22-23psi (mac valve issue) they broke loose a bit in third at 60-70mph, but my alignment is a bit off which was likely a factor...
