Default Civic wheel bearing question!!! HELP

Ok I have a 1997 Civic. It has drums on the rear and I have a bad rear driver side wheel bearing. I know this for sure. It was checked.

So I have a called a local parts shop and tried to find a new wheel bearing and they told me $50 for the the whole hub assembly (used). The car is non ABs if it matters. Anyways ppl have been telling me even though i am getting the whole hub assembly that i still need to get the bearing pressed...is this true?

I plan on doing this as a DIY if it does not have to be pressed. So if it doesnt anyone got any suggestions or write ups..?

Any help is appriciated.

No. The bearing is already pressed into the hub when you purchase it and does not require any pressing or lube. The biggest difficulty is getting the hub nut off. Make sure you've got a big breaker bar and socket for it and you should be fine. During installation, you'll torque that nut to 134 ft-lbs.
