I have a 1990 honda accord and the harmonic balancer bolt backed out while I was driving it ! We pulled over and tightened it back up, the bolt came loose again,so I bought a new pulley then the bolt would not come out.A friend came over and did the screwdriver trick behind it and that worked... He said that I needed a new bolt for it and he was gonna match it up and took it, Well the jack**s lost the bolt and now won't answer his phone.... I need my car!!! So I called NAPA and a few of the other parts stores to see if I could get a new bolt or at least the size of the one I need , they told me I NEED the original bolt, thats the only way to know what size..... Please tell me this is not so !! Surely they dont use a different bolt on Every car that year and model.... could somebody PLEASE HELP ME ???

It probably is a 14x33 bolt-washer. Number 19 in this link:

Honda should have them, and it shouldn't cost much.

 

meaning the thread pitch is m14 x 1.5 with a 33mm length
