Default converting crx to obd-1

hello everyone! i am a proud owner of my 88 crx si.. as of right now the car has a stock d16z6 but i am also building another z6 to replace my older one. my point of topic however is not so much as race mods and how to make it fast but am very interested in converting my car to obd-1.. it is so hard to get an obd0 harness that is not all cut up and whatnot and was curious to know if anyone might have done this before. at the least i will be attempting to convert to an obd1 plug inside the engine bay for a obd1 harness to plug right in.also would like to convert entire car but am pretty sure this would be alot more of a hassle and probably not be worth it.. any experianced members advice would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

All you need is the obd0-obd1 ecu harness and the obd0-obd1 distributor harness. Those can be found on Rywire.com. I'm still using my stock engine harness and I have an h22 in my crx. If I remember correctly, I think I only had to change out 1 or 2 plugs, but that's not even a big hassle.

^ yup. or if you find an obd1 harness in the junkyard go ahead and take it and make your own jumper harness.you can find all the information needed on here(H-T) or rywire.com and phearable.net has some b=very useful information in their tech area

no a couple of plugs is far from a hassle.. i have actually become pretty fond of repinning and whatnot on wireharnesses.. like i said i already have a z6 swap completed with dizzy plugs converted to obd1 on harness and ecu conversion harness but am unsatisfied with all the cuts in the harness and it seems pretty hard to find a well maintained crx engine harness.

i have a few obd1 harnesses but no idea what they came of off( beleive they are for f series, also building g22 accord). but having what i need to make it run correctly is not a problem. i would just really like to find a way to maybe change the plugs on the car or engine harness where i can hook up a stock obd1 harness to the motor. i guess it is more a complex i have with junked up wiring. maybe i am fighting a loosing battle, lol.

yes and i'm with ya on that. i have their ecu conversion but i am just curious to know if anyone has ever converted a crx fully to obd-1(inside and out) or just the motorharness to obd1. my car is all mpfi and fully operational. i would just like to have as much 0bd1 wiring as possible. i have fought and fought with bad obd0 wiring since my first crx. 3rd now.
