Default WTB OBD1 DISTRIBUTOR PART

Took off my dizzy today and found one of the "teeth" extremely bent tried to bend it back but i broke, so I need the bearing that sinks up with the cam translating the rpm of the cam to the distributor.

pics can better explain

i am not sure if it will still work if I run it like this or how long it was last until breaking. if anyone knows the info would be greatly appreciated.

I just need that top bearing thats broken off a broken dizzy. I am no sure if I can only use on one a beseries vtec or if any honda dizzy will have the same fit part.

please do read before trying to pm me about an entire dizzy i am not interested in buying anything but the sigle peice to make mines work again.

I am not sure that you can replace just that piece to be honest....I think you will need the entire housing, and I don't think that is a bearing either! see below;

it has that black ring that seems u can take off and remove only the first part. and looking at it closely there are bearings in that circular part of the two tabs which it spins on imma try take it apart tmrw and see.

im really not tryna buy the entire house i just bought this dizzy and i havent even started my engine on it yet idk how it got bent like this. i turned over the engine a couple time to test the starter and key ignition but i thought the tabs could only be installed one way to prevent the 180 degree flip so idk maybe i had it in wrong was in wrong. the dizzy bolts werent even tighten. sigh...

but thnx for the link

do the following to replace your broken part
- remove the snap ring (the black thing)
- remove the roller pin (hidden under the snap ring)
- remove the broken part
- head to the junkyard and do the same and get your replacement part.

its set up pretty much like the "bitch pin" on the shift linkage. once you get it done you will see what i mean

Also when putting the new one back on does it only fit one way so that the timing stays correct or should i mark how the original one was on as reference for putting on the replacement?

EDIT: was able to answer my own question its marked in the pic...lol

There are two different sizes on these, not sure if its SOHC VS. DOHC, or if its GSR/ITR distributors vs. others... but be careful and make sure they are the same before you put it together..
