random misfire
Well I was running my car (96 gsr) and i'm getting "random misfire cyl 1,2,3" but not 4.... I have brand new plugs NGK iridiums, brand new NGK wires, pulled 1 wire at a time off the distributor, and it all affected the way the car idled (which means the dizzy is fine since they're all giving off spark)... my 1 friend thinks its possibly just valves need to be adjusted.. any other ideas people my have, same issue with a resolution or backround information needed... let me know
Thanks!
Thanks!
i have random misfire codes in my 96 gsr as well... installed same plugs nd CEL came off nd then turned on again after a couple weeks...gl with urs if i figure out mine ill let u know how maybe it wil help...
well I have new NGK wires, I put in regular NGK plugs (as I was told the iridiums aren't supposed to get gapped you're just suppsoed to use the pre-gap and they weren't gapped at the proper specs thats asked for).
I've tried cleaning my injectors, my friend I bought the car from had changed cap and rotor (had random misfire when I bought it off him)
i'm planning on possibly trying to change the ignitor coil, check to make sure all injector plugs are getting proper power, checking my fuel pressure, doing a compression test..
anyone else have this issue and have input on what to look for/check?
