Default B18B/A guys. Question about timming.

I have noticed that my with my ignition timming in order to get it at stock timming 18 degrees. I have to pull the distributor back almost all the way. Most other Honda's I have worked on seem to be in the middle of the rang that you can move the dist. I have checked my cam timming and it's dead on. I can't figure out what the problem is. Maybee belt tension? Maybee the way the Dist + computer work together? I have also made sure the jumper for the ECU was really grouned. So I am lost here. Am I the only one with this problem?

What kind of dizzy are you using? J-yard or a new one... I bought a new one from checker auto for $106 and it worked like a champ...this might help.
