Whats going on everyone i just got my first 01 teg ls 98000 miles orig on motor i used to have a Crx but thought i try something new. The car needs a little work but for the price i got it for (2000) i think its worh it. Needs: suspension,exhuast, not sure on what kind??? Also GSR /Type-R???? Has S2000 front seats and GSR rear, HID. Ideas??? Comments??? Thanks new to the site appreciate all feedback.

 

exhuast wise go with a greedy, supspension. shocks and springs. tokico- skunk2 or go with the skunk2 coilover around 800$

 

if you have a fat wallet go with type one racing products thats what i did i love my headers and exhaust sounds so clean and picks up soooo goood! headers are 673 exhaust runs 1200 but worth every penny of it(now im a happy broke man)

 

Maybe instead of dumping over a grand into an exhaust, you could replace that hood.

 

For $800.00 you could almost get a PIC coilover setup. I'd also recommend Koni Yellows.

dont you know that hood was made for speed look at the wind devertor dent that is supposed to be there......thats why its spray painted black silly carbonfiber who needs that when you can spray paint it!

 

P.S he was asking for ideas so instead of flaming me about making a suggestion.since he is new i thought i throw out an idea since most peoples first upgrades to any car are headers intake exhaust i wanted to share with him the products i used and how happy i was with them im sure he knows to swap the hood. its always better to do it right the first time instead of dropping mad cash on cheap *** **** just to have it he can buy a 200-400 exhaust thats cool might even work better then mine but i love mine and the sound it projects and the lil hp gains i recivied from them. have fun with your teg since you are knew do alot of research into what you want to do and what gains you want to make alot og HT guys will think they are all mighty god him self and push crap on you do it how you want it regardless of what other think its your car not theres dont follow the crowd lead it.

 

I purchased the car as is!!! The Guy had a carbon invador hood on it but because i got the car cheap from his asking price(4500) he took the hood with him got this one for $20. Works for now. Yeah i think suspension and exhaust first. The motor is gonna get swapped not sure if i want gsr or type-r??? Any way thanks guys for the comments and suggestions keep them coming.
