Default my first time running 11's :)

broke into very high elevens which Im happy with. the car is a very basic and budget built ls turbo hatch. I think Im doing good for the beginning of the season. hope to run 11.80's or better next weekend on the same power.

I know its not super fast but its a stock 92 ls motor with about $600 worth of ebay turbo parts.

about 288/255tq sae, it made 314/280 uncorrected on a cold day of 40 degrees.
Im getting some rc 550's and gonna try upping the boost. I also want to go with a methanol injection system and see if I can make 340-370 whp.

nice times man!! i'm looking to be running the same times in my lil b16 this year, it's always funny to see budget builds like yours with less than 300whp run better times than alot of guys out there with 400+hp! weight reduction and driver skill and traction does alot more than big numbers! alot of people seem to overlook that power isn't everything!

Nice... Got your moneys worth for going that fast at that price. Usually takes a lot more to hit 11's that ive seen.

ya, Iv done built motors before and Iv always had better luck with stockers and just pushing them. the nice thing is that if I do blow it up I can get a new ls longblock for $200 ish

the funny thing is this motor made more whp on the same boost as my rod and piston ls vtec with a ram horn lol

I have a little build thread in the appearance section. its just a really basic setup but Iv had quite a few turbo cars so I kinda knew what I was doing, what would work and what wouldn't work. the trick is to get everything to match your needs.

you need to get your 60's down. what psi are you running in your slicks? they say that .1 of a sec off your 60' = .2 of a sec et. thats a huge diff. I wanna get down to cutting 1.6 60's

heres my build thread for any one whos interested.

Your time slip looks almost identical to mine! You got a slightly better 60' than me but I was .02 tenths faster on the other side! I did mine on mostly Ebay parts as well I just bought a InlinePRO T4 manifold but other than that its all EBAY! Ebay FTMFW!
