Default Widebands. Best bang for buck on accuracy

Im the hunt for a wideband. Im looking for one that is fast and accurate. But so many are on the market i dont know which one to go with. dont have a big wallet for it. needs to be able to work with S300.

Ive heard the PLX and AEM have a slow response.

Please share you input on what sensors you are using.

Pay for a good one that uses the Bosch chip. Pro logger or Fuel Tech both use it and don't eat wide band sensors.

Just curious, what are your opinions on the 14point7 wideband offerings? Have you used them? ie., JAW, NAW.

My vote is also for the NGK AFX... I really like mine. Also can be recalibrated for either the Bosch or the better route is to upgrade to the NGK NTK sensor.

AFX by NGK....I had to go look in the garage at it. I bought this one from t1. It's dead on with Tony's Motec wideband. The moted just has more range

Anyone every use the Glowshift gauges wideband? It comes with a Bosch 4.9 sensor and has a pretty nice warranty.

The Bosch's burn out rather quick with leaded fuels.

Widebands are just another tool people...you can spend all of the money in the world on one that meets NASA spec or you can get one that just works every pass down the track (until its time to change the sensor...a wear part).

Your car has a WIDE window of power, so Air/Fuel ratio in the grand scheme of things isnt all that important as long as its close. If you are logging at the track, all that matters if you see a change in AFRs is why that changed and did it make you faster or slower. Being accurate isnt important here...but consistency is.

With that said, my preference (bang for buck) has always been with the Innovate products...ever since they shattered and opened the Affordable wideband market when they came to the table. PLX is my second favorite. AEM is my LEAST favorite.

I like my FJO with ntk sensor. Had an AEM but sensor didnt last long (2 pulls on dyno) on leaded fuel.

I'd have had great luck with the PLX M300, and use a ton of AEM widebands.

I had my AEM in my car for a couple years on the same sensor. Seems if you run leaded race gas, that you gotta beat the **** out of it, or the lead will deposit on the sensor and kill it.

In true DSM fashion...Look in the rearview and lean her out on the AFC til you don't see smoke anymore. Perfect AFR.

I use the Innovate, and if sensors are scaring you away, buy one from vatozone and it has a 1yr warranty @ $52bux If your not looking to spend a lot get the LC1 and run it through your s300 and through your computer then there is no need for an external gauge so you will save some money there

Why do you say the Dynojet is bad ???

I'm running one on my Methanol fueled LS/Vtec Turbo - is this a problem ??

Last time I checked it against the Autronic lambda and Dynapack lambda it seemed very close !!!
