Cutting bump stops affects ride height?
Reading the instructions of a lowering springs kits says to get an additional .25" drop trim bump stops 40cm.
Wouldn't this mean that the suspension was nearly fully compressed and riding on the bump stops?

However, some lowering springs intentionally put the shock into the bumpstop at ride height, in which case cutting the bumpstop will lower the car slightly further than not doing so. The lowering spring is intending to use the bumpstop as a progressive spring to supplement the main spring in this case.
Personally, I'd stay away from any lowering spring that claims additional lowering by cutting the bumpstop, for fear of constant bottoming out issues.
