have a 96 ek hatch. recently took out my swap and dropped a single cam in there....had trouble at first with wiring and ecu. finally got the car to run and iddle and actually pass 3k rpm. car ran, drove it up and down driveway (car not registered). all of a sudden car wont start, no full pump and no starter. i never got the obd2 port to read (it would said unable to connect to the system).




any suggestions? ideas?

 

are you getting power to the car? power to the ecu?
are you able to read CELs the old skool way?
are all the power cables tight? gorunds?
did you blow the ecu?

 

Do you have any power at all? (lights/etc?)
