Icon3 Help new honda owner!!spark issues!!!

hey every body im new to the site and even newer to hondas!!im a nissan guy but my newest project is a 96 EX got it all goin but iv got a bad miss fire in cylinder three......no idea why visually it looks good no bad wires our vacuum leaks i can find......has anybody had this same issue???or do any of you honda guys know what i van do to get it fixed??thanks alot!

Spark at cyl 3 plug?

Fuel injector 3 working?

Low cylinder 3 compression?

how do i test a fuel injector??

I would say if you have a misfire, the first things to check would be your wires and your spark plugs. Change out the spark plugs for new ones and if it doesn't go away after that, try a different wire on that cylinder. Start there.

Also have a look inside the distributor, make sure all the contacts inside the cap are in good shape as well as the rotor

Use an engine stethoscope to listen for whether the fuel injector clicks. You can also try swapping fuel injector 3 with one of the other fuel injectors.

RonJ! Haha, you've helped me in the past, its good to see you're still around.

To check if the injector is opening properly you can use a long screw driver. Place the tip firmly up against the injector and press the handle into your ear so it forms an air tight seal with your ear, and listen.

well we got the plugs switched and wow what an improvement!!!it still has a little sputter at idle but we can go up hills and do over 45 now!!!next will be plug wires!!thanks for the help so far!!
