do i need the brake pad clips in the calipers. I didnt have them but i got some and tried to put it in and it was hard. is it supposed to be like that?

 

They are a very tight fit, especially if u managed to score some new ones. Used are even hard to put in. And u can go without them, but do urself a favor and put them in. It holds the pads from moving in the caliper.

 

Can these make a clicking sound while driving at low speeds?

 

i took them out because they were squeaking really bad against the calipers.

 

Sounded like a ticking sound right while driving at lower speeds? I only have it on the one side. Deffinetly doing something about it ASAP!!!!. Weather is finally warm in NY

 

mines werent ticking, they were just squeaking and i could feel resistence when its in neutral. the clips were rubbing against the rotors.
