hey guys, i just found my car has bad valve seals in my 95 honda civic dx with a d15b7 and i was going to replace them but then i thought about it and thought since i have the head off why not do a mini swap while im already there, my question here is does a d16z6 head on a d15b7 produce alot more horsepower?? like how much hp would i gain from doing the job? and would it be worth it?? bc i was thinking of doing a b16a swap in the car in a couple of months. but im not sure what i should do.

the mini me is a good motor to mess with, but honestly it doesn't gain a lot more power overall. If you are going to do a b16a swap in a couple of months I would just save the money to put for the swap.

 

dual eats single all day buddy. mini me engines are good though. but in the end, its still a single cam. your looking at about 20hp gain from that 106hp with intake, header, exhaust, and ecu upgrades, if your lucky. b series if you wanna be serious and have serious fun. craigslist, you can pick one up for about 1300.
